Building Brighter AI’s First Design System from Scratch
As the sole designer at Brighter AI, I led the creation of their first-ever design system to support the development of their anonymization tool.
Working closely with developers, I established scalable UI components, reusable UX patterns, and clear design guidelines. This effort ensured a consistent user experience, accelerated implementation, and maintained the integrity of the brand across the product.

I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Brad Frost Master Class, hosted by the phenomenal team at Hatch Conference. A day filled with insights and learning directly from the author of Atomic Design himself was beyond inspiring!

Implementing Dark Mode Within Appian and building new components for the Process Mining Software
I was hired to support the implementation of process mining capabilities within the platform, enabling users to improve their business outcomes using process mining methodologies without needing a technical background.
I helped Appian to productize the first MPV, creating a dark theme and generating custom components that solve the Process Mining users’ needs.

A UX Approach to Simplifying the Process Diagram Component
I collaborated with Appian’s productization team to integrate a dynamic process diagram that uncovered the hidden intricacies of users’ processes. The initial diagrams didn’t capture the full complexity, so I repurposed an existing algorithm—drawing inspiration from Google’s layered rendering—to simplify the model into an interactive experience. This first increment lays the foundation for an ongoing project aimed at empowering users to fully explore and understand every facet of their process.

Enhancing the data visualizations for the Appian Process Mining tool to improve progressive disclosure
In this project that I will be sharing soon I will show you how I tested with users, to better understand the way they approach the data subsets in process mining, and provided an improved version of the data visualization for Appian Process Mining.
